Turn your existing shower head anticlockwise until it comes away in your hand. Thread the filter onto the bare arm, then thread the head back onto the filter. Hand-tight is tight enough — a wrench will only mark the chrome.
If either joint weeps, unscrew it and add one of the washers in the box.
Run itfor aminute
New media carries a little dust from packing. Let the water run for sixty seconds before you step in and it clears completely.
What you notice first is usually smell. Chlorine is the thing people stop registering until it is gone.
